You book the manicure or the set you want — gel manicure from $40, soft gel from $70, poly gel from $80 — and the design goes on top of it. A solid colour is always included, so the $10 starts where the design does.

Please do. It's the single best thing you can bring. Words like “nude” or “nothing crazy” mean ten different things to ten people; a photo means one. If something in it won't work on your nail length, I'll say so before we start rather than halfway through.
For the set. A design on two accent nails sits close to $10; a detailed one across all ten costs more, because it's more work. You'll hear the number before I pick up a brush.
No. Art goes just as well on a gel manicure on your own nails from $40. Longer nails give more canvas, but plenty of the designs on this page are on natural length.
As long as the set under it — two to three weeks until regrowth shows. Chrome and hand-painted detail are sealed under top coat, so they don't wear off before the colour does.
If you want something detailed on all ten, say so when you book so I hold the time. That's the whole point of telling you the length up front: I block the extra half hour in advance, and the appointment still ends when I said it would.
